RecordNow

Permissions & Security

RecordNow is designed as a personal safety recording application. To provide its functionality the application may request certain device permissions.

Camera Permission

The camera is used to record video during manual recordings or automatically triggered safety events such as voice activation or motion detection. This allows incidents to be documented and preserved as evidence.

Microphone Permission

The microphone is used to capture audio during video recording and to detect voice-triggered emergency commands that can activate recording when the user cannot interact with the phone directly.

Location Permission

Location data may be attached to recordings so incidents can be documented with accurate geographic information. This can help emergency contacts understand where an event occurred.

Internet Access

Internet connectivity allows recordings to be uploaded securely to the SilentGuard server infrastructure. Uploading recordings protects important evidence so it cannot be lost if the phone is damaged, stolen, or destroyed.

User Privacy

RecordNow does not sell personal information. Recordings and account data remain under the control of the account owner.

The application is designed solely for personal safety and incident documentation.
